Understanding Member Levels: For Customers and Suppliers

What Are Member Levels?

Member levels are a way we recognize your activity on our platform. Whether you buy services as a customer or sell them as a supplier, your level reflects your standing and grows with you.

For Customers: How Your Level Is Calculated

Your customer level is based on your net paid purchases in the last 365 days (a rolling one-year window, not your all-time total). We look at eligible completed payments from roughly the last year; amounts are net of refunds where applicable. The more you spend in that window, the higher your level. Your level is shown next to your profile in the dashboard, on tickets, in notifications, and on member badges next to reviews.

  • Lv.1 Member – Starting tier for every new customer.
  • Lv.2 Bronze – Reached when your net paid amount in the last 365 days meets a set threshold (e.g. $100).
  • Lv.3 Silver – Unlocked at a higher threshold in that same rolling window (e.g. $500).
  • Lv.4 Gold – For customers who have reached an even higher amount in the last 365 days (e.g. $2,000).
  • Lv.5 Platinum – Our top customer tier for the highest thresholds (e.g. $10,000+ in the last 365 days).

Because the window rolls forward every day, older purchases eventually drop out of the calculation—so your level can go down if you do not keep similar activity, or up as new orders add to the window.

Exact thresholds can be customized by the platform; the labels (Member, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) and the idea of “higher recent spend = higher level” stay the same.

For Suppliers: How Your Level Is Calculated

If you are a supplier and have at least one product listed, your level is based on your total sales—the amount of money from orders that have been confirmed (by the customer or by the system). So your supplier level reflects how much you have sold, not how much you have withdrawn.

  • Same tier names apply: Lv.1 Member through Lv.5 Platinum.
  • Each tier has a minimum “total confirmed sales” amount (the same threshold amounts as customer tiers, but applied to your sales).
  • If you have the supplier role but no products yet, your level is shown as a customer (based on your net paid purchases in the last 365 days, same as other customers).

Where You See Your Level

Your level is visible in several places so you and others can see your standing at a glance:

  • Dashboard – Next to your avatar and name.
  • Shop page – For suppliers, your shop avatar shows your level ring and crown.
  • Support tickets – Both customer and supplier avatars show the level; ticket details also show the customer’s level name.
  • Emails and notifications – Your level label can appear in communications.
  • Reviews – Review authors can show a member badge; hovering it explains tiers and the 365-day rule.

Level Ring and Badge

On your avatar we show a level ring (a progress ring that fills as you get closer to the next tier) and a crown icon whose color matches your current level. Hovering over the avatar (or a member badge on a review) shows your current level, progress toward the next tier, and a list of all tiers with their minimum amounts.

Can Levels Be Customized?

Yes. Platform administrators can change the tier names, minimum amounts, and colors for each level in Admin → Settings → Client Badges. So the exact numbers and labels you see may differ slightly; the idea—customers by net paid spending in the last 365 days, suppliers with products by total confirmed sales—remains the same.

Summary

  • Customers: Level = net paid purchases in the last 365 days (rolling year; Member → Platinum). Not lifetime total.
  • Suppliers (with products): Level = total confirmed sales (same tier names and threshold amounts, applied to sales).
  • Suppliers (no products): Level = customer level (same 365-day customer rule).
  • Your level is visible on dashboard, shop, tickets, reviews, and in notifications; admins can customize thresholds and labels in Client Badges settings.
