Story Highlights are the little circles under your bio that keep your best stories alive permanently. Over time they pile up, and an outdated or cluttered row of Highlights makes a profile look neglected. Clearing them is quick once you know the options.

Delete an entire Highlight

  1. Go to your profile and tap the Highlight you want to remove.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the bottom corner.
  3. Tap Delete highlight and confirm.

The Highlight disappears from your profile, but the original stories stay in your stories archive.

Remove just one story from a Highlight

Do not want to delete the whole thing, just one slide? Open the Highlight, tap the menu, choose Edit highlight, and deselect the story you want gone. The rest of the Highlight stays intact.
